Some of you may have seen this news item about the best Whisky in the World being from Canada. Crown Royal has apparently come out with such a whisky. My friend Jason who has a blog has quite the following and writes reviews for his readers on Scotch from around the world and gives good advice and opinions on many name brands.
Do have a read before you make a purchase of Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye. A bit of an eye opener.

Not to fret my pet, lots of Scots here in Canada since 1759. I think they brought the tradition with them.

I read this too and was flabbergasted! However, blind studies strip away bias.
It reminds me of the infamous California wine upset over French in the 70s.

When I was growing up Crown Royal was a big deal in my family.

I still think it is a good product but not the no 1 in the World.
